I've been collecting Hockey, Film & TV, Military, Autographs and Memorabilia for about 23 years now.
In 2003 before I knew what was really going on, I had suddenly broke into the film industry in Vancouver, Canada as an Actor and started to regularly play and which I'm still doing today, various character roles. Anything from a doctor, Cab Driver, Drug Dealer/Thug, Super Hero, etc, etc ... and also getting to work with and alongside many types of Actors/Actresses/Directors. Of course being involved in this industry up close and personal has allowed me not only to collect Autographs, Props & Wardrobe, somewhat easier than most, but I have got to collect experiences and stories that to me are really priceless.
My "Autograph Hockey Card" collection right now is at about 1000 autographs consisting of HOF'ers, Star Players of today & yesterday, Commons, Goalies. Signed on various years of cards as well. Signatures of HOF'ers on 1956, 1960's, 1970's cards, Cards from the 70's,80's,90's, and 2000 and later.
