Hank Aaron

I recently bought a Hank Aaron autographed baseball with a JSA certification.  I don't doubt that it's real, but it did bring a question up.  Aaron's autograph is very shaky and looks like an older person signed it.  I've seen his autograph from years ago when it was a lot smoother.  Does anyone know bad this would affect the value of his autograph?

"What about the point/value of inscriptions? For example, I recently went to an autograph show for Troy Polamalu. The autograph itself was $140, with an inscription costing another $40. I would have loved for him to add Super Bowl Champ or listed his…"

"Where do you think the best place to buy the OMLB's? I've been collecting autographs on baseballs for a couple of years and have always bought them in bulk online (between $120-140 per case). If you go and buy them at a random store, they…"

500 Home Run Club autographed American League baseball!

"I am by no means an expert, but the three autographs that I'm most familiar with on this ball is the hank aaron, harmon killebrew, and ernie banks. All three autographs are different from the ones that I've most recently seen (2 of which I…"

About Me

What kind of member are you? Industry professionals must use their real names and identify themselves as such. (You don't have to pick just one!)
Collector
What do you collect, or want to start collecting?
Sports
Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:
I have been collecting Pittsburgh HOF members (hockey, baseball, and football) for awhile, and I recently started adding members of the baseball HOF that were inducted since I was born in 1977. I also enjoy obtaining autographs on Sports Illustrateds.
What is your level of expertise?
Long Time Lover
What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
I have a Sandy Koufax cut that my father got when he was my age. I stumbled upon it years after he passed away. I also have an autographed golf shoe from Gary Player and a couple of other golf greats that comes with a great story about why I wasn't working the day that I got it (I ended up on the front page of the paper getting the autograph).
Why do you collect?
I like the time spent chasing a piece of history. I've recently started taking my kids with me, and it's fun to do it with them. I also like that I have a hobby that when people look at it they say WOW.
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Babe Ruth, but of course Christ or Caesar would put my kids through college.
