I have numerous signed photos of comedians/actors from the 1930's-1950's/ have JFK and LBJ's autographs (personally met JFK)

I've always enjoyed checking out the ups and downs of prices of the signatures of notables.

Why do you collect?

I like to feelings of "connection" one sometimes gets with the person of note through owning the signature.
