What kind of member are you? (Check as many as apply.): Collector, Fan, Other Professional

What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.: I spoke to my Collection History above But as I begin to Sell/Trade Items I no longer want I'd like to Replace them with Classic Film & TV Character Actors such as, MAUDIE PRICKETT, HARRIET MACGIBBONS, CATHY LEWIS, Esther Dale,Richard Deacon, Edward Andrews, etc. I also Want a Nice Frances Farmer, & Several Other Classic Film Greats. I Love Celebrity Signed Contracts, Personal Checks, ANS & ALS, TLS, AQS & such. I Often Prefer These type Signatures and Album Pages to Photos as I enjoy Matting and Framing With the Best Photos (Especially Candid or Old Papparazzi Type) I can Find. Speaking of Contracts, Checks and such, Does anyone Know what happened with Mr. Caleb Gluck who had very Nice and Often Reasonable Contracts, Checks, etc?

Why do you want to join Autograph Live?: I began Collecting at age 12 (many years ago NOW) and was blessed to have become Close to many wonderful Classic Era Film, TV & Theatre Legends. Many, I stayed in touch with by Mail, Phone and Years Later In Person until their Passing. Examples Included, Shirley Booth, Kitty Carlisle, Lynn Borden, Larry Fine, Marjorie Main & so many more. I once had hundreds of Signed Items, Letters and even Gifts. After doing a Military Tour as a Hospital Corpsman with the USMC (FMF Field Corpsman) upon returning Home I discovered my amazing Original Collection had been Stolen. I continued to Collect and Contribute Articles, Interviews to Several Movie Magazines, Fanzines & so on. I Lived & Worked in H'wood for approximately 8 1/2 Yrs as Personal Assistant to a few Stars & as an Events Organizer, arranging Screenings for AMPAS Considereration, Independent and Foreign and Short Films, Several Benefits, etc. I made New Friends Out there (a few have Won OSCAR, Emmy,Golden Globes) long after I first met them. Maintained friendships or (saw them more as Mentors, Grandparent or Gr8 Aunt/Uncle Types until the Last of the Originals Passed) with Only the wonderful Ed Asner remaining. There are Still great Actors/Actresses & even better Human beings who happen to Act I stay Involved with. While there I picked up many In - Person Signatures, (Mostly for friends & Relatives) & had Friends who'd get Scripts, Photos, Cards Signed for me on Film & TV Projects they did. I Still Prefer Writing ACTUAL Letters to them Over Using Social Media & thankfully most of them do as well. I am now however, ready to Sell or Trade all but the most Important or Personal to me - Signed Items. I have some Very Nice Purchases and many In Person Sig's, Posters and Other Memorabilia (Star Owned Pieces,) etc. I will Concentrate on just Autographs I really Want &"little else. I enjoy talking Golden Age Film, TV, Stage and need to Lighten up because (Honestly) though I just turned 59 - I have had some Issue with Cancer associated with Contaminated Water at Camp Lejuene, NC USMC Base & really don't feel, Uh ... Great at this time. Hopefully VA Treatment Options will Improve soon. They went from VG to Poor in my area about 9 Years ago & that's as Political as I'll ever get... Here! Respect & God Bless ... What are your areas of interest?: Books/Literature, Classic Hollywood and Stage, Music, SciFi, Horror

Why do you collect?: It was such a Nice and Adventurous alternative to anything else when & where (Raiford, Starke, Florida - State Prison Employee Family Housing) I grew up. I Loved the Older Movies my Paternal Grandma and Great Aunt Helen (Made me Sit and Watch until they Grew on me) and the TV of my Childhood and Teens. Before Divorce brought me (my Siblings & Mama( from Indianapolis to my Mama's Birthplace in Lawtey, Florida we'd lived about 2 Blocks from Frances Farmer (I knew then as the Old Movie's TV Lady)& in her "Ore - Nice" Period. All Kids for Several Blocks knew which Yards to Avoid. Frances Farmer and an (Ancient ... THEN, but probably younger than I am now) German Couple Tied for "Yards most likely to result in a Kids Ear being Yanked or being Yelled at for a good Block at least - "a form of shaming which worked, except with my V.Cool Older Cousins.Men of experience (ages, 12, 14, 15 ... So men when You were 8)," LOL. I had a Cool life even when things were sad ... In hindsight!

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?: River Phoenix 8 X 10 which he signed (One of many that night) and Hand Tinted for me and for a Charity I was Organizing at a Gainesville, Florida Coffee Shop next to the Equity Theatre & Dowcnstairs Movie Theater where My Own Private Idaho had its Special Florida Screening. Its One it'd take Something Really Special to get me to Part with.
