I Have a question--what iod the BEST way to remove (Sliver or Gold) Paint Marker from a guitar body..I know how to remove "sharpie" but what about PAINT PENS?

It RARELY works..you are tgaking a chance on permanently staining the photo... on freshly sighned items..rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab will remove inscriptions..others tell me use nail polish remover..havent tried that for inscriptions...
