Wow...$3,500 is high. Maybe something was especially desirable about hers.

I checked the autographs and yours definitely looks authentic. I don't know if it will pay for you to get it authenticated, so think seriously about it. It it's likely to help it bring way over market on eBay, then it may make sense. But your friend's price was either for a highly desirable item, or was an aberration.

There's definitely a market for this, assuming it's genuine (I don't doubt it but I don't know). Sanders guide has it at about $350 (roughly retail), but I don't know how accurate that is, particularly for this great photo. The really old material like this is specialized.

Give it a few days and let's see what you hear.
