There’s a movie coming out in a few weeks called About Time. Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter) finds out when he turns 21, that he can travel in time. He uses this power to get Rachel McAdams to be his girlfriend (hey…it beats trying to find Hitler and assassinate him).
I’m not allowed… Continue

People always say the news just shows blood and guts. The old phrase goes, “If it bleeds, it leads.”
Well, I was watching Fox 5 San Diego last night and saw the most adorable girl. She was 5-year-old Alanah Poullard. She was visiting the White House last week with her father, a wounded… Continue

Though her manager was his usual very arrogant self, luckily Grace Slick was in a much better mood. Even better, they arrived separately (and at separate times).
Grace Slick was at Gallery 319 on Ventura Bl., in Woodland Hills, on Saturday 9/21/2013, to display, talk about, but mostly sell, her very exquisite artwork. What she wasn't there to do, was to sign any autographs. While her manager was making that point "very clear", he did allow me to walk around and view her artwork.… Continue

One of my friends did some research on the… Continue

First, photos of my Derek Jeter "2001 Fleer Monumental Moments" autograph card numbered "85/95."
This is a Fleer issued Derek Jeter… Continue

Very well organized, very spacious, clearly marked artists tables, and a pretty fair cross selection of some of Rock and Roll's best supporting cast of musicians and even those lead singers, from some of our generations biggest rock bands. This was the scene on Saturday September 14, 2013 (and Sunday September 15th) at the L.A. Rock and Roll Autograph Show, held at the Westin LAX Airport Hotel in Los Angeles.
Though not every table was a house hold name, the house was still very much… Continue

I saw the Ron Howard movie Rush, which deals with a racing rivalry in 1976. Good movie (review in a few days), but there’s an autograph scene I thought I’d mention. Obviously, there were lots of autographing scenes in the movie, as these were the two best drivers during that time. One was interesting, though. A… Continue

We all have that autograph we didn’t get and we still think about it. Well, I think it’s safe to say that the one missing signature this guy didn’t have cost him more money than all of our moments combined. You see, he owned a Van Gogh painting, but it wasn’t signed. That meant the Van Gogh museum turned it… Continue
