When did pencil signatures start?

Hi there I wanted to ask if anyone has an idea of when someone could have signed using a pencil? I have seen Babe ruth Pencil sigs from around (1940) but also seen a Harry houdini that was supposedly signed in the early 1920's



does anyone know when pencils were starting to be used ? ive heard of fountain pens for old sigs but wanted to know for sure

Hi there I wanted to ask if anyone more experienced can tell me if the Justin bieber autographs coming TTM are real or Secs, people send them to his record company in NY , but they come back postmarked from Atlanta Georgia ( where he lives)

bon jovi early 90's signature

hi there just wanted to ask what any of you thought about this jon bon jovi signature, its on a big poster


i bought this a year or to and the seller said it was signed in ( I believe 1994) in South Africa at some benifit concert

Authentic Paul Mccartney ?

Hi there im new here and if i posted this in the wrong spot sorry, i wanted to ask what others thought about this paul mccartney autograph i got a few years ago it is on an envelope i can get more pictures just thought a closeup of the signature would be best.
