Gerald Ford and Bob Hope - real or fake?

Was poking around in an antique store in Marietta, GA, the other day, and came across these 2 autographs for sale. Wondered what everyone else thought about these.

First, a Gerald Ford signed Sports Illustrated magazine. To me, it looks like a really bad forgery.

Second, I saw this Bob Hope autographed album next to it. Looks like it could be real, but it's kind of hard to tell in the dimly lit showcase.

What do you all think? Just curious.

the Ford is no good.  The Hope looks like several that I have seen, but I am not sure if its secretarial.

Thanks, terrier! Those were my thoughts exactly. Always working to keep my "Is It Real?" skills in top condition!

At best the Ford is atypical and I would avoid it. I don't know anything about the second.

Anyway, I have about 100 albums...well, maybe 50...that I bought from an estate…
