The Authentic Experience
When i recieved Steve Cyrkin e-mail about asking members on here about Listia.Com... That was a Dream Come True for me here. I have been part of Listia from the very start over 2 years now.I'm what you call one of the real Old Timers. That has seen Listia grow from 20 people to what it has become World Wide.Even in Russia all over the World ! Cant belive how Big Listia Is.... I have also seen & Bid & Won Great Autographs from books to 8 x 10 pics ect...
Great Stuff and Great Stories from those that have them.Alot of the early items - 1920 & 30's & up... Listia is all About a Free Auction & using Credits, No Cash On Bidding. Just Credits & you earn them with you items you auction off also. To me it's as Big as a E-Bay and alot more fun.. Both ways bidding and posting your items also. Alot of Different items , great Auctions so muany things on there.
There is alot of folks that is in the same boat, like the rest of the USA. Trying to make it day by day. There is alot of Disabled & special needs like me also. And familys alot of familys, that this is how the get gifts for Christmas & Birthdays ect.. & find what they can use and must have for there famlies. Alot of Business also use Listia to help there income and needs alos ,With just Credits. I have been seen apart of Lista to really help me and my family, & been at the bottom trying to make ends meet myself and on a fix income. But still doing my Autograph Hobby I Love to do ! But cant really afford to do with cash..... But with Listia i have been able to find things and also the past 2 year, i have gotten all my family there Christmas item on Listia.Com. And spent a few dollars for shipping. Not a bad thing at all, plus we are Recycling Item from not going to LandFills & Also lost Forever ! Thanks for just reading this. Hope to hear from you this 2012 and hope to see you in 2012 on Listia and Bring Both Autograph Magazine & Listia Together ! God Be with All of You & Yours There Happy New Year to All ! Hope to hear from Steve Cyrkins also sometime ! Steve Mills,Ky

Just Heard from a dear older lady on Listia who was trying to find a good Christmas gift for her Hubby on Listia. And She found a Old Baseball with a few names on it and since her husband loves Baseball she went and bid a few hundred Credits. She told me it was down to her last credits and she thought what the heck. may be all fakes but to him he will love this BaseBall ! So when she got and gave it too him he was so surprised and Happy. He also thought these are all Fake No Big Deal. But he did have a friend in New York and Had a place to have it Checked out ! There was a very faint looking Babe Ruth autograph on it and a few of his buddies also from New York. the Ball was worth over $ 100,000 plus and it was on Listia and i Believe it come from a couple in Fl that had it. And They even as bad as the Ball was & Babes sign, and his buddies it was Very Real and a Great Find on Listia.... So you Just Never Know What you Will Find on There. It's like the Road Show You Just Never Know ? And The Great thing is it went to a couple in need and was down to there last pennies and credits. Now That is the Kind Of Blessing i'm talking About ! No Matter What at YardSales, GarageSales, Trash Cans, Side WalkSales Or just out Picking like i like doing also. You just never know, Ones Mans Trash Can Be Another Mans Gold Find ! So never say never about any place you go to or auction you look into... There always Treasures Around, You may need to look hard , but they are there. Just ready for someone to take the chance. Comment by mike aring on January 1, 2012 at 10:34pm ok.. i put an autograph on listia.. the autograph was from an arizona cardinals kicker named Neil Rackers ( i have a TON of signed photos) and i was thinking that maybe i could trade some of this stuff out for dvd's for my kid or something... and the guy never paid anyway... but upon looking around, i didn't see a real autograph in the bunch. and decent people too. and then, some guy, out of the blue, started to try and friend me on facebook. his name was simply "autograph hound." and he was asking me some questions about the authenticity of some items. namely ozzy osbourne, acdc and the like... and he was pointing me to listia auctions... NOTHING looked good and i started thinking, why would anyone put this stuff on a site to basically trade for credits? those are $100 + items... why? cause they were no good.
yardseller, i have a friend who sells on there. so when he posts something new on yardseller, i get a facebook post (i wish i didn't, but i do), but it comes with posted items of other crap as well. and i see tons of shameless garbage (michael jordan/magic johnson combos for like $95 ea.) on these posts as well... cool thing about that, i can post back things like "absolute trash" or "completely not real." and i've gotten some new comments thanking me for keeping them from buying this stuff. i guess when ebay is no longer an option, you go to where nobody knows your name.
That is why A/C can come in hand to help those who need Educated and will not know what they are buying. But there are alot of older Fans on Listia that sre trying to auction there items off for things they do need instead. As Far as Yardsale... cant comment on that, i have a few i have put on there & there are alot on there also. But Like i said alot of people need to know and be educated also. So Thanks for following the Thread and your Comment All is Welcome ! God Bless and Happy 2012 Steve,Ky
