I just saw the documentary More Than a Game. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than the critically praised "Hoop Dreams" from a decade ago.

It showed LeBron James in high school, and even years before that, playing with the same group of kids. It was so interesting following their stories. One kid was only 4'10", and the crowd laughed when he entered the game. Until he made six 3-pointers in the span of about five minutes!

It was great watching the boys being asked to sign autographs after big games. They seemed to be enjoying it. Although, I'm guessing LeBron is probably getting a bit more tired of it these days.

I was disappointed with the movie Zombieland. Sure, it was entertaining enough. And perhaps the best cameo you'll ever see of an A list actor...

But I bring it up for one reason. In an Entertainment Weekly, there was an interview with star Woody Harrelson. They ask him a question about being in two hit films in a row, and how weird the movie business is. He answers:

Every aspect of the business is okay, except the paparazzi. They're the parasites at the murky depths of this business. Bono told me one time that he took all these French paparazzis out to a bar, which is unfathomable to me.

They then brought up the fact that he punched one at an airport and released a statement that he was still in character and thought the guy was a zombie. I was surprised, in two ways, by what Woody said in response to that.

"I got lucky. The night after it happened, I went to my favorite restaurant in New York and Paul McCartney was there. We're old buddies, and when I told him what happened, he was like, 'just say you mistook him for a zombie.' I had the press release written before I went to bed."

That may be. But I'm guessing it won't work if there's a lawsuit.

I'm also guessing, with Woody already being a tough autograph signer, his troubles with the paparazzi aren't going to help matters.

I just heard that song from Saturday Night Fever "More Than a Woman" and I thought about this blog, and in my mind I was changing the lyrics to "more than a zombie/more than a zombie to me"....(okay, you had to be there)
