NASCAR season is over let the autograph collecting begin!

This is the first time I have ever posted a blog ANYWHERE so be kind Guys!

*** I want to take the time to thank Brandon Mysinger for taking the time for us rookies to validate our finds and getting us started in this fun Hobby ***

Ok I'm pretty new to NASCAR autographs but as of late they have peaked my interest.
My neighbor had a extra ticket for Watkins Glen this year and I had never been to a NASCAR Race before. How could I refuse when He said I could go and I didn't hafta pay for the ticket. Well since it was my first time there I never could be in the right spot at the right time to get a autograph. Esp my Team Hendrick Guys!! What a bummer....I brought like 3-4 die-cast (which I lugged all over) all I got a was a sore arm. I guess I have spent too much time snooping ebay. I thought to get a autograph die-cast cost a small fortune. Well in my wandering threw the Team souvenir trailers I saw Joey Logano cars signed $50! Hell a blank car cost that much. Getting a signed car from the Team trailer you KNOW it's the real deal even if you didn't see the Guy sign it. Caught Hell from my Wife when I got home but how could I not get His #20 2009 and His #02 2008 signed? Silver Sharpie on the windshield....just like I like it. Wow this was GREAT and saved the day for me. I know I've been told He is the most assessable driver for autographs because He is new. While I'm not really a fan of Joe Gibbs Team...I really like the Kid He is the youngest ever ROTY at 19...I'm willing to bet He is going places in the future. So I'm guessing I have something of future value.

As some of you have seen I have recently added quite a odd piece to my collection. Ok maybe not "odd" for some but definitely "odd" for me. For $10 off the local Craigs List......how could I pass on it. Yeah granted it's rather LARGE and a pain to display...but I can manage just this one piece. Make for quite a conversation piece. Well it hasn't even made it to my wall and it's become that! Nobody can believe how much I got it for!! Brandon has confirmed for me that it's the real deal.

A screen grab of the actual ad (Hope you can read it?)

The same Guy I got the sheet metal from has some more autographs He is parting with so I'll be getting more soon. After the deal on the signed sheet metal I asked Him to give me first dibs on anything else He is putting out there. I have Him holding a signed Brad Keselowski and signed Justin Allgaier Hero cards for me for $10 for both.....so far. His Craigs List pics are kinda small to really see the validity of the autographs. Once I get em I'll get better pics to post.

He is still sorting and I'll update ya as I get whatever. I'm really looking forward to what I will come up with!!
I hope to get a buncha collector card sized autographed cards to put in hard plastics. Easier to store and preserve unlike Hero Cards.

Any comments or educational information....PLEASE share!!

*** HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON ***

Joey has been selling out of his signed cars on his fan trailer all season. He is by far the best signing Rookie to hit NASCAR since Richard Petty. He does NOT refuse a chance to sign.

Keselowski is a good signer but dos not sign as much or for as long when given the chance.

For those of you that didn't know, The teams actually start testing at Daytona in Jan. That is a GREAT time to visit the track and to meet the drivers as it is a boring time for them so they sign a LOT!
