THINGS THAT MAKE YOU WONDER

I think that it is interesting to look at these guitar descriptions at Rock Star Gallery and Autograph Central. There are the elusive White AC/DC and Rolling Stones Guitars that keep getting lost. I wish someone would tell Mr. Dunn where they disappeared to.

I like a signed guitar a lot better than a signed pickguard. I never saw Rock Star Gallery sell guitars with signed pick guards before. Must be coming from a different source. I hope that Mr. Dunn and Mr. Slaven are still buddies. Look at the following guitar links and compare the items description with the corresponding sold guitar at Autograph Central. I have seen a lot of merchandise travel from Autograph Central to Rock Star Gallery.

I hate it when people don't get the credit they deserve. I wonder if Mr. Slaven ever feels this way. Autograph Central seems to have the same merchandise that Mr. Dunn made available at his auction. I wonder if Mr. Slaven has ever had a fund raiser for a children's hospital or similar charity orginization?

ROCK STAR GALLERY MICHAEL DUNN SOLD ME FRAUDULENT/FORGED NIRVAN MEMORABILIA ($17,500 WORTH) SCOTTSDALE, Arizona8th of Oct, 2011 by User374783

My fiance wanted to buy me a wedding gift that would blow me away. Knowing I'm a huge fan of the band Nirvana, she did a web search and found a dealer selling a display of Nirvana memorabilia. There's a Fender guitar, several album flats, and a bass drum head all autographed by the band. While I was immediately concerned with the lack of any provenance of certificate of authenticity (other than the one he prints himself), I didn't want to hurt my fiance's feelings so I kept my mouth shut. Recently, we decided we wanted to sell the display, and sell it quickly. We paid $17,500 for the item and I listed it on EBAY for only $10,000. Before listing the item on ebay, I also contacted the owner to see if he would be interested in buying the display back at a bargain price so that he could re-sell it for even more profit. WHile I'm waiting for the owner's response, I get an email on ebay asking for documentation on the item. I told him that while I did have documentation, I expected a lot of tire kickers in an auction like this. I asked for a $100 refundable deposit to scan in all the relevant documents. He said he would get back to me. Instead, what he did was copy my pics from ebay and send them to PSA/DNA for verification. They deemed the entire piece fraudulent. Not only did ebay remove my listing, but I am forbidden to relist it. WHere else would one sell an item like this??? I confronted the owner of the gallery. He has every excuse you can imagine. He knew he was dealing with a 27 year old girl that knew nothing about buying anything like this and took total advantage of her. I wonder how he sleeps at night. It makes sense that the signatures are the same because Autograph Central supplies merchandise to places like Rock Star Gallery and American Royal Arts. Unfortunately, that does not improve the quality of the autograrphs.

I almost feel bad for Mr. Slaven. Mr. Dunn acts like he is ashamed of their relationship.

All the other ones have been removed for now. I think that it is very strange that a lot of the newest guitar additions to Rock Star Gallery are all signed on the pick guard. I have followed the site for over two years and I have never seen a guitar with a signed pick guard. The signatures have always been on the body of the guitar. Is Rock Star Gallery looking for a new autograph supplier? Gallery of Dreams could be an option.

I wonder if Rock Star Gallery and Autograph Alert are somehow connected. Autograph Alert seems to keep track of what I write about. The day after Rock Star Gallery got a new rating from the BBB, Autograph Alert had a story about authenticators with a BBB rating of F. It wasn't PSADNA or Mr. Epperson, so I don't really know what Autograph Alert was trying to say. Just trying to throw up more dust I guess.
