It doesn't give a good first impression, but I believe that it's real. The way the "I" intersects with the end of the second "R" in particular makes it look unusual.
I don't study Morrison, but when I looked at the signature, my first impression was that it looked slowly drawn. Maybe that is typical of Morrison? I really don't know, but it made me suspicious.
That's what I thought too, but it was probably signed on an uneven surface. I give credit to Epperson for recognizing it as being authentic.
I think it would always be in question, so I wouldn't buy it. I'm not comfortable with it myself.
I can understand why you would feel that way.
