Hello out their,

I was just wondering if anyone out their might no where to find an authentic Prince autograph. I cant seem to find one anywhere that looks good, except for one, and its asking price is around 3 grand. I just cant afford that much. I know they are quite scarce as he doesnt sign anymore, but if anyone out their has one theyd be willing to sell or trade for a similar value autograph, please let me know. Ebay is just no help with this one, as ive never seen one even up for auction.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks for reading,

Chris

thanks for the info
When Prince played Houston on his "One Night Alone" tour he allowed his fan club members to go to his sound check.  After the hour long sound check he did and question and answer session and one girl asked him for an autograph.  He said he does not do that as he is a Jehovah Witness and that would be idolizing himself and he doesn't believe in that.  The last time I heard of him signing was in the early 1990's

Roger is right. I was at one of the sound checks where he hung out and talked with fans in 2001 with the fan club. Last public autograph signing was in 1993 to be more specific and that was just writing the symbol. That was at a one off instore that he did in Atlanta at Turtles Records during a short US tour. So it's going on 20 years since he signed an 'autograph'.

The last time he wrote anything real in his signature was in 1988 on the  Lovesexy tour where he did instore signings and usually inscribed them, but just wrote "P" as his signature. So to get a real full Prince autograph, unless you're talking about some kind of legal documents or whatever, you're talking over 25 years ago.

The Jehova's  thing is a convenient excuse because he had all but given up signing for almost a decade before that.

Actually, last time was July 30Th at the Tower Records in London. That was on the second (euro) leg of the same '93 tour. That's the last public signing that I know of. The Atlanta one was March 12Th 1993 and was the last US one.

Hey, what can I say? I like specifics!

The March and April 1993 tour is the only time Prince toured the states between 1989 and 1996 and he most definitely did not play Phoenix on that tour. Sorry.

Everything I said is verifiable. He seriously did not do anything in Phoenix 89 through 96.

The next time he came there was April of 97. That's the closest date to the time frame we're talking about.

Well check with those 14 people and get an exact date so we can settle this.

I am providing dates and specifics to back up my claims and all you're saying is "I know some people who went to a thing I was going to go to but I didn't go"! Vague things like that are about as solid as a C.O.A. so help me out here and look into it for some facts.

Seriously, if this really happened I'd love to know exactly when. But I really do know my Prince stuff and have an extremely detailed time line of events, right down to stuff like this, and every appearance from the first 20 years or so of his career.

This CD is from Prince in store signing in Stockholm 1988. I have been able to buy 1 CD and 1 Lp from that signing. I also have a ticket from 1987 that is signed with his full signature. That is the last time I heared anyone got a full signature. I will try to find another signed album. But you don't see them that often.

Cool!

See, I wasn't makin' it up!

Well if anyone would ever like to sell their signatures, please keep me in mind.

Thanks

Chris

Here is a picture of the album that I got from the same signing in Stockholm 1988. As you can see he have used the same kind of pen on the album and the cd.

i thought I would do something nice for myself, so I picked this up.
