Micheal Jackson autograph - Is it real?

Hello friends,

I have received offer from Ebay member on this MJ's autograph. I never see this style of MJ signed before. Is it real or not? What do you think?

I would say likely genuine. However, I would contact Roger Epperson at least for an online appraisal. He's excellent for music autographs.

Dear James,

Thanks for your opinion. The seller told me that he has already sent for Roger Epperson's online appraisal and the result is positive. However, I have sent to PSA/DNA for quick opinion and the result was "likely not genuine".

So I am hesitating whether to buy or not.

Interesting. Two "big boys" not agreeing. I guess that is what can make autograph appraising so tenuous. Here is the one that I have that I've shown before. It has an LOA from Roger Epperson. I wonder if Roger really gave a positive review of the one that you're showing.

Forget psa/dna for Music related items especially Elvis.

When i first started collecting Elvis I used psa a lot and majority of the time they turned down the item (Quick opnion service) when infact they were authentic.

If Roger says it´s good then I wouldn´t even bother to care what PSA says.

PAAS Mike Frost is exellent authenticator as well when it comes to Michael Jackson.

I do not believe this is authentic. Out of all the Jackson's I viewed I couldn't find one that had such narrow E's as this one does throughout the personalization. After that fact it starts not to look so good. The small letters inside his name look very poor. Id stay away from this one....

He has more of a george harrison E at the end of george.

Thanks for your valuable opinion. James, actually the seller has forwarded me an E-mail from Roger stating that it is good. Actually, I have recently sent at least 10 autographs of MJ to PSA and never receive "Likely Genuine" result. Even MJ 80' autograph in attached file, they also mentioned "Likely not genuine".

Thanks so much for all your valuable comments. Finally, I can get MJ 80' auto (attached file) on Ebay at US 650 and Mr. Epperson said this one is ok. I hope to get one more for his recent signed. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help.
