Rudyard Kipling

Hi all I have A old book from 1924 the jungle book, on the front page it has A signature that says Rudyard Kipling, the signature is on A piece of paper that has been stuck in the front blank page, I have had books before with signatures stuck in and this is just another one, I have no idea if it is real or fake.

Any information would be great thanks

I think "Kipling" part is close to some examples that are supposed to be authentic. However I don't know how his signature had been changing during his lifetime and I don't know if there are any experts on Kipling on the forum. But considering the fact that the ink doesn't look fresh and Kipling's autographed cuts are not so rare and usually not expensive- I would say that it looks authentic.

I can' t find where my Kipling autographs are , now I am looking for them to show you but I think yours is probably ok. The problem with it though is that I haven't seen a Kipling autograph before using that kind of nib so its difficult when you look at it to know for sure.
