the clash autographes

Hi. I've have a 7" single of the punkband "the clash" Its "White man in hammersmith palais". The single is from 1978, and is boldly signed by, Joe Strummer, Topper Headon, Mick Jones, and Paul Simonon. (See photo). Can anyone tell me if the signatures from the 70's, or is this single signed in the 80's. I know that signatures from the 70s and the 80s by the same band, has some differents. Thanks.

I have a Mick Jones (PSA DNA). This is very different in all aspects.

My signature is similar to that currently found on eBay (Photo 1). I found in my database a picture of what was sold by RRAuction recently (getting well nearest the signatures you have) (Photo 2).

I Agree. My signature of MJ is recent.

But, you can check the differences between your photo and the one sold by RRAuction (and pre-certified by Roger E.).

I think they are from the same era.

I am only a student and I'm learning signatures. The correct is you pay for an expert (I suggest Roger E.) for you to be more relaxed and know the truth!

Thats a great story. And since you didn't see it signed thats hardly 100%. As a matter of fact thats you trusting someone you never met.

Did an expert say its real? Or the guy collecting the money selling it?

So you got it from a guy, who got it from another guy who has a story. It must be real cause it has a story that follows it. So funny the stuff some folks use to convince themselves a questionable item must be real.

And once again I will repeat myself. He didn't get it direct so not sure what his feedback has to do with anything, he is a "collector" yet sells items often....

And I am not sure how an endless supply of rare autographs is proof. But if you say so and are happy is all that matters.

But make no mistake by NO MEANS is anything here 100%. But I do know in my past experience 99% of the time I see bidders IDS made private something fishy was going down. Like shill bidding....
