Ebay Seller Kemahkeith518 Mickey Mantle Autographed Photo UGLY FORGERY COA NOT SCOREBOARD Sold For $102.50

Here's another Ebay auction where the seller (in this case Ebay seller Kemahkeith518) used a Scoreboard COA to list and sell their Mickey Mantle forgery on a photograph.

The people who buy and seller this crap have ZERO knowledge of autographs and that's why they fall for this scam.

As we all know, it's been commonplace on Ebay for sellers of forgeries to use either an old or modified Scoreboard COA to list and sell their various forgeries.

In this instance, Ebay seller Kemahkeith518 used an old Scoreboard COA to list and sell their ugly Mickey Mantle forgery.

The Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller Kemahkeith518 for $102.50.

Ebay continues, as they have for the past twenty years, to profit from the sales of forgeries.

And sellers of forgeries list their garbage on Ebay because they know the suckers and wannabe autograph collectors will buy their crap.

A wannabe autograph collector paid $102.50.  for this POS Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller kemahkeith518.

The people who buy and sell these crap, have ZERO knowledge of autographs, but are still responsible for infecting our autograph hobby with this garbage and that is why we will continue to expose every Ebay seller who sells this crap!!!

This is one ugly and poorly-executed forgery.

This is NOT a Scoreboard product!!!!

Here is that Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller Kemahkeith518 for $102.50.

This seller only has a zero feedback rating. It would only take 2 people (concerned collectors) to have reported it to Ebay and it would have been removed before this buyer acquired this. This is a fact !!!!

I am Kemah keith518.

I have a few questions. How do you know this is a fake?

I won the litho at a golf tournament as the main doorprize. The local dealer that donated the prize. Finnigan's Sportscards, put an estimated value of $1,200.00 on it. Im no collector but know, that was im sure for tax write off purposes.

So either the dealer is pushing fakes or your information is incorrect.

I have contacted the dealer so you two can hash this out.

But please do not portray me as some sort of villan. I am a family man, a good upstanding, honet individual, who happened to win a prize from a team and a player I hold no attachment to.

When one, not in the memorabelia business,  wins a prize from a dealer,on behalf of a charitable organization, that person would never believe it to be fake.

Do not portray me as some sort of flim flam man, or hustler. You do not know me, and you and your followers remarks about me have no merit as far as my E Bay selling. I just began selling. Do you think I would be so stupid as to have my third ever listing be a fake.

I called the individual personaly and cancelled the sale as soon as I found out about your allegation thru someone else that saw your blog. Good thing there are still good people in this world.

Again please prove to me why this picture is a forgery?????

Other than pictures you saw on the web.

I gave you my number, be a man and call me.

Chris Williams is an expert who exposes bad Mickey Mantle autographs,he does it all the time and many people are grateful for his help. I have no doubt he will respond to you as he should.I think many of us our looking for explanations by both of you.

Keith thank you for coming here to share your side.Chris Williams has been at this for several years,It takes a while to get an eye for what is good and what is not. The item you won happens to be a very common forgery. Take a look at a few examples I have for comparison as there is a huge difference between and authentic mantle and the junk that has been floating out for years.

Sorry that you feel offended but alot of us collectors here regularly see this junk get sold daily and generally to people that know nothing about the hobby and intend to flip the items for profit.

here is another piece that i do not own that is authentic.

btw you get an A+ for the word Usage Flim Flam Man.

I have no axe to grind other than the way it comes off on his blog, as me being some kind of pariah.

Since we are exposing the fraud. Maybe someone a bit more knowledgeable than me, would like to reach out to the memorabilia sales company that should know better. They are:

*********************** (removed dealer info here--as requested by Keith until this is cleared up)

They are the dishonest peole here.

Keith, Chris Williams has  said here time and time he had his fill of forgers and thanks for the source of this, You can expect Mr. Williams who accused you of Fraud to contact both you and F******* Sportcards,.

If Mr. Williams says a Mantle signature is a forgery, you can best believe it's a fake. How do people expect his tone to be when exposing forgeries? Pleasant, upbeat & polite? He cares about the hobby and is furious at the amount of forgeries infecting it!

Wow Keith, You started it now !!!!!!

Whats funny to me is I spent $150.00 in raffles at the event. Won the one item that my girlfriend threw a ticket in without me knowing. Didn't want anything to do with him or the Yankees for god sake (Huge Astros fan). Listed the item on e bay with NO RESERVE to get that thing out of my house, and start my EBAY carrer so I could have some extra money for a trip to Hawaii. And kablowie. Shite storm central. Im upset with the fact that a member of my Ancient Order of Hibernians, would do this to a fellow brother

Oh by the way the raffle money went to The Cancer Reasearch Program at Albany Medical Center. So the money I donated went to a good cause. It's the 1,200.00 tax write off the donator is grabbing that kills me. The scumbag is the one that made out. Most assuredly not me.

Keith , You are not the first for this to happen too.I don't think there is a member here on this site who has not been stuck one time or another in their collecting life with a bad autograph and thinking it was real.I know you might get the impression here that some know all but we all learned and still learning as we go along. They say "you learn by your mistakes". If you are sincere ,you will do just fine on Ebay, if not it will be a short lived affair. Good Luck !!

Keith this might explain what just happened to you. And its unfortunate.  This investigation was headed up with both Steve Cyrkin (owner of this forum) and Roger Epperson (one of the top authenticators).

I just got around to watching this video. Mr. Cyrkin & Mr. Epperson were amazing in it! I didn't understand the guy who organizes the charity event when he said he investigates where all the autographs come from. Any investigation on Coach's Corner will tell you what they are. Really shows what type of man Lee Trythall is when he promises the reporter to give an interview, only to change his mind and not appear on camera, AFTER she flys out there. What a coward! The statement that their inventory is "easy to get" is hilarious.
