Ebay Seller Gertrude.702 Derek Jeter Forgery Autographed Baseball--Ugly

This is one of the ugliest Derek Jeter forgeries I have ever seen on Ebay.

We've exposed tons of Ebay sellers/scammers who list and sell forgeries, and some of them are simply ugly and laughable, but the below Derek Jeter forgery listed by Ebay seller Gertrude.702 ranks right up there with the "Ugliest Of The Ugly."

And there's a good chance that an Ebay wannabe autograph collector will buy this garbage of a Derek Jeter forgery listed by Ebay seller Gertrude.702.

Christopher - Enjoy learning from you and the other pros here. Posting 2 Jeter's - do not have COA's on either. Friend acquired on eBay in the 2006-07 time frame. As a beginner I don't have a clue how to figure Jeter's out - though in your ugly picture I can read 'Derek' - seems to be the first give away. Both of mine look different from e/o - first is Selig, second is Budig (signature naturally evolving over the years).
Appreciate any insight.

Someone should have spent 5 minutes with Jeter at an early age and tought him how to sign a baseball! Although with a sloppy signature like his it has a few characteristics that make it hard to fake if you know what your looking for.

From studying pictures of authentic Jeter's I felt confident about the first ball and like Ryan, was unsure of the second. But I don't know enough yet on specific characteristics of Jeter to know if there's any chance it's good. Any other opinions greatly appreciated. Thx

Another note on the ball with the horrible D - it has a funky sticker - see attached - at top is C C and at bottom of globe is C11872. I could not identify it trying to research online. Maybe someone knows what it is.
