Earnhardt Sr. - Would appreciate any opinion

Any chance this might be authentic? I bought it.  Truthfully, it looks too good to be real but the story that came behind it is a pretty good one and I was able to verify a couple of the facts.   If the story is true then Dale might have taken some time to make it look this good.  Thanks very much for any opinions.
