Some of you know me, and from what I understand, someone caught selling yet another bad Ford autograph has once again, decided to spout off at the mouth. Claims that I am a dealer and I only tell unsuspecting autograph buyers that their item is fake so that I can sell my own Harrison Fords. Again I am hearing claims that the likely supplier of the forgeries is the true expert on Harrison Ford autographs.

Side note the seller sent me a friend request message yesterday with the single question about if I knew a particular collector. In my world this says plenty, and likely tells me where the piece originated.

When I tell people that I track the sale of Harrison Ford autographs, I am not kidding around, I watch sales here, I watch sales on rebelscum and on ebay and other online auction sites.

Who signed them? Who is the forger? I am not going to play games and point fingers, nor will I even guess if the supplier is the forger, all I can do is put together where they came from.

I will give the people that have had these in their possession, that courtesy. They can come clean about where they got them as the "in-person" and "private signing" stories fall apart.

This is the same courtesy I tried to provide to Marc Moser, the last guy caught in a huge Ford Forgery mess. He decided to drag my name thru the mud for a few months as well, but by doing that he just shot himself in the foot. People will wake up sooner or later, and the truth does come out.

I present these images to you, again supplying the signatures and letting the people on this forum and others as judge, you decide the truth. You will also be the deciding factor if these autograph professionals keep their reputations or if they have earned brand new ones.

Every item below has been tracked to the most recent seller, and through his own admission the source of the autographs, I will also include items sold elsewhere by the supplier who admitted on these very pages to supplying some of these.

The pattern is pretty clear to me.

As for the recent claims about me being a dealer, out to only hurt other peoples supposedly reputable business.

Please keep in mind, that anyone that has purchased anything at all from me in the past 5 years has approached me. When they do I usually point them in other directions and offer to authenticate (for free) any item they ask about, from any other source.

I see index cards selling $250-300 every week on the Facebook group. They usually sell in less than an hour. With Carrie and Kenny gone, it seems collectors are more open to doing index cards projects to fill in the missing names.

Only a few years ago single signed guinnness photos were $300-400. Now if anyone wants to sell theirs for that let me know I will buy every single one :)

Yeah... I haven't been following sales... so I assumed they were still in that range. The one I got at a flea market for $30 three years ago may turn into my best bargain of all time.

Next time you're going to the flea market give me a call! Nice find.

The prices are all cyclical, not dissimilar to what happened to Neil Armstrong prices. Supply dries up, demand and prices increase - which drives more people to sell since prices are high, then supply outweighs the demand once more and prices drop.
Never knew about iconic auctions. Im going to keep an eye out next time they have an auction. Thanks Mike

With regards to my statement about JSA slipping.. here are just a few of the autographs they have certified recently (within the last year). It is my opinion that these are some of the worst forgeries I have ever seen, and in no circumstance should have been certified by anyone.

I think Pete will agree with me here, and this is only a small example of the stuff they have been certing. Many share much of the same characteristics, which leads me to believe they are from a single source and that JSA is just flat out incompetent not to question it.

Harrison Ford

Frank Oz

Carrie Fisher (Known secretarial signature for 20 years)

Peter Cushing

George Lucas

My biggest concern on the ebay Alec was the JSA cert, no doubts there.

The matching Alec shot that I have, and your duel shot were likely signed within days of each other, and you can see the matching light & dark areas (that almost appear like starts and stops.)  The start of the wavy baseline is evident in almost all of the red ink signatures......the guy was in his 80's.

So I've been looking for a good Ford graph for a while.  I have asked Pete multiple times and he is always great and helps me out.  I really want a nice Indy photo and this one caught my eye.  I've followed all of Petes posts about authenticating and also dating Fords graphs so am I right in saying that this one is legit and from the 90s?

Thanks

If I was a betting man, my money would be on autographczar.

I am not home to verify against the samples, but that's my blind call.

Oh dang.  That's why I always ask first.  knew the price was too good to be true but it being psa authenticated had me interested

Thanks

Well like they said if it passes PSA, Beckett, or JSA it must be real. Lol
Pete, Just to make sure the coolwaters posters signed by Harrison are good?

Every Ford sitdown, for prop companies, Topps cards, Offical Pix, Celebrity Authentics...everything is handled thru Derek. Coolwaters is the company that does all of the signings with Ford, and Derek is his signing agent.

Questions may have been brought about other companies and the material they bring to market after the signings, but Coolwaters has always been rock solid. I normally don't get into buying from signings like this, but I have bought Officlal Pix pieces because they were the Lucasfilm official license holder at the time, without Coolwaters arranging the signing with their client, that wouldn't have ever happened.
