Freddie looks ok but is signed in an early 80s style, and this item is from the late 80s. Mercury is too simple. Could be genuine and rushed, but I'd avoid it and wait for a better example of his hand become available.

Also, (at the risk of sounding rude) a genuine Freddie will never be offered at £40. If it's less than a few hundred, it's safe to go ahead assume it's not genuine. A second individual just sent me the link and asked for my opinion. Upon closer inspection, the Mercury is not only too simple, but also looks to have pen flow breaks that suggest it was done slowly. I also saw the price. I stick by "avoid this item".

No I appreciate that I've asked the seller loads of questions and they don't reply to me and the very cheap price is off putting too
