Musicians Who Sell Their Signatures In Shop.

We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

I just checked the prices on eBay of Dean Torrence's autographed Autobiography, "Surf City: The Jan&Dean Story." They are selling from $45 to $100.

We are offering them at $25 (including shipping) at our website store, SurfCityAllstars.com. We have value priced them for fans and collectors for a limited time. It is a great rock n' roll read as well as a good investment.

Original founding Beach Boy Mike Love is also selling his new memoir, "Good Vibrations; My Life as a Beach Boy" autographed at his website, MikeLove.com for $45. It is hand signed, not the publisher's tipped-in page making the rounds on eBay. Also available is an autographed audio book version.

I have several Julian signed pieces that were obtained at the Soiled Dove in Denver after a concert where he leaned up against me while sitting on the lap of a girl singing to her. While in line to get his sig he apologized to me...like no problem Julian...lol

Got my Robert Cray auto. Gold pen. A bit disappointed but hey some of these guys just shorten their autographs. Cool thing is it came with a some guitar picks on a little card. I play but I don't think I would pop them out to use.

I also display my CD covers in cd cases but this one is a bit too big to fit into a normal cd size case. Oh well...still nice.
