nope

This was previously posted here. They're Fan Club secretarials, including the Lennon.

Thanks -- didn't see the first posting of these.

Yeah,...these  were what you got if you wrote to the fan club and asked for the Beatles autographs...these are also on the "welcome to the fan club" letter that you received when you joined.

What would they be worth if they were the real deal. I don't think I have ever seen a 1970 set of Beatles autographs.

TRACKS in the UK sold a "White Album" a few years back...signed in the 1970's...and it sold for over $186,000 US.

Wow!! and it can only go up in value.

The sigs on the "White Album"are from around 1973/1974....there's a story of a guy who sold a post 1970 signed Beatles LP in 1994...it took him almost 8 years to get the 4 Beatles to sign it. It does happen...but it's VERY rare!!!

I am sure it paid off for him.

Update from Eastbourne Auction House:

Lot: 183
** WITHDRAWN FROM SALE ** Two sets of Beatles autographs each comprising John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, one signed on a newspaper cutting the other on a letter, 'Best wishes for the future from the Beatles, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and George Harrison' with envelope addressed to Miss N Annetts of Surrey, With provenance note (PROVENANCE: In 1970 February my mother sent this cutting from a magazine (possibly NME) to the Beatles fan club in Liverpool. As it was my birthday in the April, she thought it would be a lovely surprise if the Beatles could sign the picture for me, we waited and waited and finally a year later it arrived back, signed along with a blank sheet of paper with another full set of autographs, and a wish for the future for me written by John Lennon)

Further Information As Requested:
Good morning, Thank you for email, we have withdrawn this lot from sale. Kind regards, Liam

I received the same email from the auction house however it still appears to be an active lot on the Saleroom website?
