eBay seller brunsfam selling fake Mantle and DiMaggio w/PSA quick opinion....

This guy is selling a forged Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio photo using a PSA quick opinion saying that it is real, but the quick opinion is not for the signature or photo shown. Check it out: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mickey-Mantle-Joe-Dimaggio-Autographed-Sign...

Garbage machine-signed forgeries. How do you know the quick opinion is not for that photo, besides that it's so obviously fake.

I'm pretty sure PSA does the quick opinion for auction items like on eBay. It should show the item number as a reference. I don't see anything linking that opinion to anything specific. And yes, that signature is so bad, PSA on their worst day wouldn't even consider that as ok.

I guess the new scam would be to get a quick opinion on a legit piece and then pass the opinion off with a known forgery. Some unassuming fool will fall for it, hopefully not.

The PSA quick opinion should have the item number (this one does not) and the auction title should match (this one does not.)

In the closeup image, you can see the PSA logo has a slightly different background color than the rest on the opinion letter. It's cobbed together.

I noticed that seller a few hours ago.

These are all from Ebay seller Brunsfam.

These are all the "Florida" forgeries.

Of course this guy replies to me that everything is authentic and he uses a "local guy" to "verify" the authenticity. Just one more crook who thinks he is smarter than us.
