I watch Mantle autographs on ebay....I noted today that someone in florida was selling unused Mantle show autograph tickets from years ago....presuming there really was a show at that time, i find selling these things disturbing...there are enough fake autographs coming out of florida already....and knowing there are unused autograph tickets floating around, i would think twice and likely not seek to purchase any item, real or not, supported by any ticket from that show....the poor SOB that has a real Mantle item from that show is now at a disadvantage....a tough sell...
Sorry to rant...but just when you think you have seen it all....but i guess there have always been bogus COAs...now i look at ebay and see a lot of high price fakes among some high price real ones...before it was cheap fakes, and now they sell autograph tickets....so somebody can match them to fake items...
What's next.....!!!!

Not a shock. That said, autograph tickets should be taken with a grain of salt. There's no photo typing to an item, so a buyer would be unwise to trust them as any sort of proof anyway.
