We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Popmarket just cancelled my Halsey order. No explanation just a cancellation email.

Yeah - I just got the Wolf Alice post cards by themselves, but I don't seem to have gotten a cancellation on Halsey - at least I didn't get an email.

I got the Halsey cancellation email also.

When did you get it? I got the notifications that Wolf Alice shipped on Saturday (with no mention of Halsey). I checked the website - it shows Wolf Alice delivered (I just received it about an hour ago) and Halsey being prepared for shipment.

Again, I found it odd that these two were available. Bothe the Halsey boxsets and Wolf Alice postcards had been thought to be long, long gone through the artists' respective website stores (also run by popmarket).

I got the cancellation notice about 45 minutes ago but also got notice that the Wolf Alice postcard was being sent along with the Superchunk and Bob Mould posters that were also ordered.

Right now, it lists "2 Available" on popmarket. Meanwhile, the two I ordered still show as being "prepped for shipment." I'm wondering what's going on.

I just emailed them as a reply to my cancellation notice and asked the same question.  Will let you know if there is a response.

I emailed as well, because I didn't even receive a refund (assuming they aren't actually available).

Well, now I got a cancellation email (per "my request," which was decidedly not the case).

It'd be nice to know I was getting a refund, too.

How many musicians regularly sell signed items? I'd like to put together a list that anyone can access. It's good for the artists, and their fans.

Not a lot regularly sell but quite a bit have autographed items available on occasion.

Circumstances can change somewhat quickly, especially for younger musicians. Interesting to see who has continued in spite of a recent surge in success the past few years (i.e. Halsey) and who quickly stopped in the midst of a quick rise to fame (i.e. Haim).
