I thought this might be cool. Tell what concerts you are going to see. Let us know if you liked or disliked the show. Maybe show a picture, autograph, guitar pick, drumstick, or a cool story .

Just saw them in Pitt yesterday. I totally agree with your assessment. Great show. Pride ending the mini set going into Streets is fantastic. Bono signed before the show but missed me- I did shake his hand. Gonna try again in cleveland in a few weeks.

They're usually very fan friendly. Bono and Edge have never been especially tough autographs, and Adam is always very polite to fans from what I gather. I just picked the wrong day. Ah, well.

Great assessment. many of the shows I go to my wife at 47 is one of the youngest concert goers (I'm a bit older than her). Mostly sixties ,seventies eighties acts. She recently saw the weekend(or whatever his name is) though, with some girlfriends! Meanwhile I want to go to Roger Waters!

Wolf Alice is playing Shubas Tavern (150 capacity) in Chicago next month. What an opportunity to see one of the great young live bands in such a small place.. They just announced a US/European tour at some of the most intimate venues they could book in conjunction with the announcement of their second album.

Yep, Off Broadway in St Louis is about the same capacity.  I was just told tickets go onsale for that show tomorrow at 10 am.  I caught them at a small club 2 years ago and figured for sure they would have graduated to a bigger venue in the US by now but I'm not complaining!  Definitely catch them now in the small clubs while you can.

I think this is more or less a gift from the band. They were already playing much larger venues last year.

As expected, Chicago tickets sold out in just a few minutes.

And not to resellers because if I'm not mistaken, you don't actually buy tickets to Schuba's but rather just a name to be left at will call.

Yep, like Lincoln Hall (where they played last year).

My friend in California just told be the sellout time in LA was about two minutes.

Yep, looks like the big cities went quick. The promoter that books Off Broadway where the St. Louis show is just told me tickets are selling well but at the current rate, it won't sell out today. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chicago fans that missed out make the drive down to this show since it's a Saturday night. Off Broadway is an extremely intimate venue. It's basically like seeing a band play your friend's basement.

I'd like to do that, but I can't really spend money on shows I'm not sure I can make at the moment. My friend is doing Chicago, NYC, LA and San Fran. I know NYC sold out fast. We both noticed Chicago was sold out around 12 past (might have been faster than that, but that's just when we noticed). UK shows might have been even worse. I think I saw someone say they were right on the trigger and missed out.

Schubas really is as intimate as it gets. I saw Aurora eating at the pub before the show last year. And the musicians typically have to go through the audience to get to the stage, as there really isn't a backstage other than behind the bar.
