I agree Steve, I really thought he was one of the good guys in this hobby with all his posturing about authentic autographs. I have never purchased anything from him but considered him the biggest Eagles collector out there and used his graphs for examplars. I am one of the most suspicious guys out there so this really erks me as I believed in him. I would advise Mr. Duncan to cease and desist as an email to his work could cause him problems. The whole sordid mess just saddens me and makes me trust nobody except one or two solid people. Sad.
I agree, he must have used gotten the info from First American Title. I called them yesterday. Haven't heard back yet.
What is slanderous? If it's true, it's true, and there is a lot of evidence that the concerns of many of us are legitimate.
Stephen Duncan could discuss these issues but he does not. I posted two large, comprehensive images comparing the Don Henleys of his that a number of us felt were not real with other ones that he had.
What did he do? Call me names.
Duncan was someone I trusted for years. This is not a situation that brings me joy.
This is crazy! I almost bought an expensive SPringsteen/jackson Browne from him for my wife. So glad I didn't.
And I always told myself I WOULD NOT buy autographs anymore. Arrrgghhhh
