3 Signed Bowie Albums - Station To Station/Young Americans/Pin Ups - Authenticity? Any help appreciated.

I have 3 albums signed by David Bowie.

*Station To Station

*Young Americans

*Pin Ups

Can anyone shed any light as to whether these are genuine or not? I don't have any COA's for them. I'm pretty sure they are real - but how do you tell?

You asked "...how do you tell...?" so I should answer as I have opined.

In this case, the quickest and most accurate answer is these three LP's don't look anything like known genuine signed examples. The first one doesn't make any sense physically, and the last two have more in common with themselves than any known genuine exemplars.

The "'99" I posted is a better attempt by far (only in context), but still exhibits at least six problematic features common to this hand only, which is not that of Mr. David Jones. It is signed at an angle Bowie would have signed at, more than often, but bears only a passing resemblance with some misunderstood/missing characteristics that separate it quickly from the genuine article. There are "better" things coming out of the U.K..

Indeed. These are what one might term "Southern "Bowie's"". They are prolific, but well hindered by consistency of unavoidable inherent traits and a lack of rather simple observation.
