wel what ever it is real or not ,i have two morrison sigs already and find myself very fortunate thanks for all the reactions ,we cant always agree on everything .
Someone apparently purchased it at the opening bid of $200.
Ok Jack,..The E S at the end of "James" is on the money (confirmed by the Check Signature that you posted below the "signature in question"....Also, S, O, N on the Morrison sig is defiantly Spot On. Also, would a Forger really Fade it out this much, if he really wanted to "Make a profit on this?"....I don't think so. I know the signature I bought was a fake, but this one,...I Think you need to study this one, just a little bit more.....
Teresa, no need to study it for another second, as I'll continue to find even more things wrong with the item. Again, the check endorsements were posted to show how he would write James, with no separation between the M and E which this item has. The SON in JMorrison is not spot on and for that matter is completely wrong. Look how slowly the downstroke in the N is written. Again, the RR is wrong. Both O's are wrong and is just simply not how Jim would form them. Also, forgers do go through great lengths to make an item appear old, aged, or "faded out" as you stated. I wonder why a JDM autograph such as this item in question, if it were authentic, would probably sell for $5,000.-, but yet this one sold for only $180.- This is a forgery plain and simple.
It actually could have been had for less than $180. It was listed at an even lower starting price with a BIN option, and it went unsold. It was then relisted and sold at the $180 BIN price.
.
Ok, now I see the slow downstroke on the N. That is a pretty good observation by itself. Shoot, I wanted this one to be Real. Thanks Jack and Ballroom....
Yes, Now I see that the N just stops,. In most of his signatures the N just fades away at the end "with his speedy" writing style. Thanks Jack and Ballroom.....
