Hi, I'm the seller and I stand behind it. It comes from a Red Sox autograph album collection that was subsequently pieced out. The Jimmie Foxx I'm auctioning off is from the same collection. Thanks!

I'll be honest. I like the "Ted" I just don't like that "W" or the smudge behind Williams. If I think it's fake? I'll call it a fake. When I say, I wouldn't touch it? Usually means I have my suspicions about it

It's a playing era signature which is slightly different than his more commonly seen signature.

I have been looking at it and I believe Mike Kam is correct.  Yes, the W is not what we are used to seeing but there are a lot more positives than negatives.  I would not mind owning this one.
