Is this an authentic Mickey Mantle autograph?

Acquired the ball strangely and would like to know if it's his, I have no history on the ball. Maybe if I could find out around when he signed it? If I'm not mistaking if it is his from what I've researched a professional should be able to narrow it down from when the ball was made.

Authentic! However, I wouldn't have a clue as to when he signed it. 80s, early 90s perhaps!!

Thank you so much for your time I truly believed it was authentic, none the less is not authenticated so depreciates the value. Could you please tell me what I do to have it authenticated? I'm not nor have I ever been a collector so I am at a loss! I am on a fixed income and a friend of mine that was trying to buy the ball from me told me it needs to be authenticated before the value increases. Long story short he tried to get over, so if you can help me out with information on how to get it, and how much it's going to cost roughly? Thanks once again for your time, God bless!

There are a number of reputable authentication companies out there. Beckett, JSA, PSA/DNA, SGC, and UPPER DECK. You can Google their respected websites and they'll take you through the Authentication process. You're probably looking at $100 to have the mantle ball authenticated. Hope this helps. Good luck.

very nice Mantle signature and the ball is in great shape, from looking at the photos. You should be able to get 350 to 400 even without authentication.

Thank you very much for your info ZX I was wondering wh a Willie Mays classic sports shots and Jackie Robbinsonat if you end up in a spot and need to sell the ball quick, do you have any ideas of where I could do that? I also have a Willie Mays & Jackie Robinson classic sports shot's collector's book 3 & 4.
