this popped up for sale... I feel like I've seen it before.  What do members feel about the authenticity of this one?

This is my opinion on this......This one has been signed by a very clever and good forger, a couple of years ago, this guy sprung up and signed lots of McCartney stuff, always including inscriptions doodles etc, he used loads of multi-signed stuff too....he is very good but the “m” McCartney always lets him down, this dude’s work was discussed on here a couple of years ago....I bought a few of his bits off of eBay then...Frank alerted me of him...this guy had a endless supply...

The "M" is very strange, you're right. There are so many whacky  Maccas out there that I thought this was likely good.

Posting this I knew it would be tricky. This has become quite interesting. As mentioned in my OP .. I too have seen this before and figured someone here would shed some light!

The inscription weighted significantly in my opinion that it probably was real. This is going to be an interesting discussion.

I feel there is a lot more in this signature than the M that is concerning.  The size of the l in Paul is uncharacteristically small, as is the t in McCartney.  The whole signature just looks off to me.

I agree about the inscription. If it's fake, there's quite an attention to detail. For example, I think "friends" looks exceptionally good, right down to the slash dotting the "I."

I agree. It’s like they paid more attention to the inscription than the signature.
