We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Great deal for a non signer. Tour books look classy as well

Britney Spears - Signed Poster (18x24) bundle with long sleeve shirt

https://store.britneyspears.com/products/limited-time-birthday-bundle

Any idea if these will be real or autopen/secretarial? Hasnt Britney had problems with that in the past? Tempted to order but thats a lot of money if its an autopen.

Not sure – these signed posters were originally part of the VIP ticket package for her live concerts. See a few doing the rounds on eBay – the images don’t look like autopens however not sure if real or secretarial.

$99

Sold out. How much were they?

They aren't sold out, just pick another size

All sizes are sold out - just checked as of my last reply ($99)

I tried all the sizes. Says sold out.

Pretty good deal for Paul Simon! The guy is a prick in person. Got him a few years ago one-on-one but literally had to beg for it, lol.

I am likely going to be unpopular with this view but I think it’s worth saying. I think this forum is excellent and has in the past highlighted to me many signed items that would’ve been undiscovered by my untrained eye. The aspect that sometimes frustrates, and at times means I miss time limited items, is that many use the same forum for introducing items (which again I must say is awesome) to either advise they have purchased, complain about the price, or thank the person who has posted. I get it, it’s nice to be nice, but surely there is a way to do this outwith this forum to avoid everyone else receiving the email. If you wish to thank the poster why not send them a personal thanks. If this forum was used purely to highlight signed items and where to get them (as I’m sure it was originally intended) only meaningful and timefast emails would be received.  Sorry suggestion (and rant) over. And yes I know ironically this post does not signpost a item...that will come

Steve, I agree with you and was actually going to propose starting a new thread for people to discuss issues and complaints with signed items. This forum was supposed to used to alert others of signed items being offered and often turns into a long discussion that gets away from the point...resulting in email notification after email notification of stuff that subscribers may not care about.
