Three Presidents

Hello,

These three documents were my grandfather's promotion papers in the U.S. Marine Corps, when he was promoted from one rank to the next rank. Each one is signed by the President at the time. (Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding and Franklin Roosevelt.) We have had them all these years. Can anyone here give a ballpark estimate of what these might be worth to collectors, due to the signatures on them?

I don’t see a signature of Harding and FDR so I would place both of those at $100-150 max. The Wilson is signed by him and so I would place the value of that document at $250

Thank you for your reply Paul. The signatures of Harding and Roosevelt are near the top of those documents, just below the eagle. You can see them better in the close-ups.

The president’s name above the eagle is just that, their name. It is not their signatures. Their signatures if present would be located below all the printed accomplishment on the right and to the right of “by the president.” The only document containing a presidential signature is that of Wilson
