Just thought I'd post this, as I received the email from Legends of the Fields (top Wisconsin sports autograph dealer) yesterday.  Brett Favre will be doing a public signing next month in Green Bay.  For those of you familiar with Favre and his signing habits, you know that public signings have been just about non-existent the past 10 - 15 years.

As you might expect, prices aren't cheap and well in excess of the actual value of a Favre autograph.  $219.99 for 8x10s/small items, $159.99 for inscriptions, etc.

Curious to see what the turnout will be. Favre's legacy hasn't been and likely won't be restored to what it was pre-2008, so I'm curious how many fans are interested in this.

First of all.....The mere fact that he thinks his autograph on an 8x10 commands over 200 dollars is ludicrous!

I have bought several PSA authenticated on eBay for 30 to 45 dollars. So either Favre thinks his autograph is worth more than it is.....OR he thinks the privilege of meeting him is worth 175 bucks. EITHER WAY....HE IS CRAZY

Even the ones with the Favre hologram are about half that - at worst.  Prices fell pretty sharply after the Packers fallout in 2008, and I don't think they ever really recovered.

I got him at csa in person, he was okay. Handlers were super strict
