We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

that looks even worse... these do not look to be signed by Mr. Gordon Sumner...

Doesn't Look Like they are Signed by Sting to me, look nothing like one i have from last year

upon research via google from several websites and ebay from other sting signed stuff, the "G" looks somewhat the same in this pic as it does from several other pics of his autograph..but most of the autographed pics i am seeing online all look different overall..there are no constants other than the "G"..his autograph looks different in many places i am seeing...both ones with legit COA's included and not...I honestly don;t know who to believe at this point..You would assume since this came right from his website, it is legit....

Yep, I came to the same conclusion - his autograph appears to vary a lot. I’ll be interested to see what others receive.

Hi i received my signed print today . Very similar to the bronze pen in the one posted earlier. I have too checked around other places and on ebay also .there is one on ebay signed in bronze on his last cd up for sale and has steve beckett coa. (dont know alot about him ) the s going into the t is in typical sting style but the end is done  almost exactly the same as mine and the one earlier. the pen he has has been using  on the cd also looks like there hasnt been enough ink in it which does look pretty crappy lol. I have seen in the past book templates inside his books signed with a straight s and then seperate t after it . I feel confident that these are all genuine esp coming from his website and then through universal music which have yet to let me down .

mine signed print is waiting for me at home once i get home from work..I also ordered a signed cd from newbury..gonna compare the two once i have both in my possession

This isn't the first time Sting has done this.
