I just want to warn any motorsport fans. Since the 2 year mark of his tragic death just passed I've noticed many items coming up for sale claiming to be signed by Nicky Hayden. Most are being called old items from private collections now being sold.

While I am no authentication expert, I can tell you most of these items are fake. The signatures are wrong, adding additional detail Nicky never did and missing essential parts.

Don't be fooled by these scumbags trying to make money off Nicky's memory and robbing his fans.
