+2. According to the Caiazzo LOA, the one in the OP is from the signing on March 25, 2003. Look at the extent to which it differs from the authentic example I posted from that signing, and its similarity to the other “different” Ringos. There’s more to it than just the appearance of the signatures though, as has been mentioned in previous related discussions.

I too think very highly of Perry and feel awful about what I think is a very unusual situation. It’s a tough one for sure, and it certainly reflects well on him that he’s willing to come on here and discuss it.

absolutely agree Ballroom

I have just received a quick opinion from Roger Epperson by email about my Ringo on the "Ringo" cd booklet. Roger wrote: this looks fine in my opinion, a bit rushed but ok

Perry,

I wrote you a welcome reply last night that looks like it didn't post.

Welcome to Autograph Live... I'm excited that you joined us! You're an especially welcome and valuable addition to our Beatles forum.

Last night I meant to say that I scanned what you wrote and wanted to read it fully before I replied.

I read it and I think that it's important reading for all fans and collectors. I want to discuss it more later.

I think that you may reconsider your opinions on the Ringos in question and some McCartney autographs that appear to be from the same source, but they don't lessen the value of your post.

I'm very glad to have you onboard.

Thanks Steve! I appreciate the welcome and feedback. Glad to be here.

I am aware not all agree on the Ringos. I understand that. I did run them by Frank again to be sure of his opinion which I also requested at the time. In the future, I will be sticking more to the safe side of the road no doubt. I am also aware of the flood of Paul's out there now and I'm aware of the issue arisen from them. Early on, there were some nice ones coming up. I know many hired the homeless to get a load of signatures from 2010 through 2014 and some in-between. Seems many decided to sell at the same time causing a flood which didn't help the issue either.

For several months now, I have not trusted hardly any new items coming out and I have stopped handling any of them altogether now just as Becket, PSA,and others have done as they also approved some of the early ones. I'm truly committed to keeping the community clean and will work toward that end. We live, learn and do our best. Thanks again for adding me.

Good read,welcome Perry.

Thank you

Welcome, Perry! Great thoughts and insights and I appreciate you taking the time to share them. One certainly can’t be a key, respected player in this field of Beatles autographs and memorabilia for 38 years without having consistently shown professionalism, honesty and integrity. And, that’s what I’ve experienced in all my interactions with you. And soon, I will be the proud owner/steward of my second group-signed item acquired from you. I look forward to sharing it with this group.

Perry,

Your post would make a valuable blog post standing on its own. Would you be interested in making it one? Take the part specific to these Ringos out or rewrite that section so the post stands on its own, and make any other changes you want .

You can post it here and I'll proof it for typos and approve it:

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve, Yes, I will edit and send over to you. Thank you!

Thanks, Perry, just post it yourself at the link provided. It won't go live until I approve it.
