Mark,

I'm sorry, but I lost one of the images in an edit, I think the first one. Could you please check and repost it. BTW, was this a 1998 signing?

Thanks, Marc, but you posted 3, didn't you? I just see the Storytellers signed in silver and the yellow CD with the star in the middle.

only 2 one in silver one in black

and notsure why there being cropped or sideways because there not on my computer

Just goes to show how stupid collecting autographs can be.

Marc,

It's our old system that we're replacing as soon as the new one is ready. To show 100% of the photo, start it as a new reply, right under the original post. That way it won't be nested and cut off.

Here's a Ringo comparison for your consideration. I believe the left column is all authentic examples from 2003.

The right column is as follows:

The first example was on eBay and the listing was apparently removed by eBay. It's signed on the inside gatefold of a Sgt. Pepper LP, which also includes a Macca signature.

The third example was on mercari.com with an asking price of $500. It also includes a Macca signature.

The fourth example sold on eBay for $41.

The fifth example sold on mercari.com for $90.

The sixth example is on AbeBooks with an asking price of $350.

pretty eye opening.  Two distinctive styles.  One thing I find interesting (and suspicious) is the squiggle under his name. In the left column, which I also believe to be authentic, the top part of the right facing "point" ends under different letters in each signature, as you would expect.

In the right column, they are all virtually identical, which I find difficult to believe that would be the case with authentic versions.

I am sure someone will have a sound argument which differs from mine, and that is fine.  I find this discussion one of the most interesting that I have encountered since joining this community.

Right up there with the JLL book discussion!  LOL
