I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we pointed out some of the best places on the internet where there's and opportunity to get amazing deals on autographs.  It can be in the realm of sports, actors, music . . .

Here are some that come to mind:

Newbury Comics (website and ebay) - Autographed CDs.  Most are the cost of the CD, though some of the more limited items may have higher prices.

Schwartz Sports Memorabilia (ebay) - Sports and some celebrity autographs.  Have $9.99 auctions for great sports autographed items from their own public and private signing.  Chicago-based, so heavier in Bears, Cubs and Bulls items, but also has low starting bids for Pete Rose, Reggie Jackson, etc.

Radtke Sports (ebay) - Sports autographs.  Similar to Schwartz in that they have low, low starting bids on items from their own signings.

Waukesha Sports Cards (ebay) - Sports autographs.  Most items have flat (or best offer) prices, but the the low starting bid auctions are quite frequent.  Specialize in local stars (Packers/Brewers).  Great place for Lombardi era Packers items.

Autograph World (website, UACC auctions, and ebay) - Celebrity autographs.  I think just about everyone on this website knows about them.

JG Autographs (ebay) - Celebrity autographs.  Low starting bids to many of their ebay auctions.

NewGraphs (ebay) - In-person celebrity autographs.  Ebay in-person collector sells items at fairly standard prices throughout the year, but the past few Decembers has had huge fire sales at the end of the year.  You can score amazing deals on celebrity items, some of which may even have exact photographic proof.

Fye (website)...........Similar to Newberry in that they sell signed CD's, but not near as frequent as Newberry.

Premier Collectibles..........Specializes in signed limited edition books

Jg and radtke gave me great deals. Signed checks for cheap. Radtke I for a cano signed bat for only 125$.

Goldenstate autographs and autographedcards on Ebay have fantastic deals as well. I completed sets with them and got a 11 x14 pacino only 65$ after their sale. Definitely try them.

Mike

I have bought from both and have never seen anything really questionable on those two.  I have confidence in them.  One thing I do though is to print out everything for provenance.  I think that is important to know where and when i get autographs.

Hello,

Just wanted to let others know that Newberry Comics now has autographed copies from

Rob Zombie

Drowning Pool

Clutch

Dido

Steven Wilson

And Suicidal Tendencies to name a few.

Yeah, I just saw Zombie and Dido pop up.  Fantastic deals for sure.

Hi, Im curious about jg autographs. They have multiple guess who signed photos, albums. They look good to me but from what I know  burton cummings usually doesnt hang with the others. Can anybody clue me in about them?

You can always ask them - I think in some instances, they have additional signing details that aren't described on the website.

I have never really heard any complaints about JG Autographs to be honest. I purchase from them regularly (music items), and everything i have seen is authentic. And they stand behind all their items with lifetime COAs. I dont have full trust in anyone completely when it comes to buying autographs off ebay, but they are about as close as it comes for me.

Thank you guys for the reply!

I fully agree with Carl. I have purchased often from JG and all items passed authentication.

Millcreek Sports and Sidsgraphs two I like.

Personally I would avoid Millcreek. Several years ago I informed them on ebay that a Muhammad Ali trading card they were selling as autographed, was in fact a facsimile.

Their response: "Who are you? We don't know you" and then proceeded to block my ebay id and continued selling the facsimile as an original autograph.
