Just a fair warning..I have ordered from port of sound in the past and had a big issue with them.. they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for damaged albums because (they didnt have replacements to send out)they use shitty boxes to ship in and are clueless on how to ship vinyl properly to avoid damage..they were total dicks about it... i opened a dispute with my cc and got it all back...i shipped the vinyl back..i shouldnt have shipped it back but i was honoring my end of the deal...i lost out on shipping them back... 

"Sold Out".........

Hopefully, they've learned their lesson

welp..at this purchase i wrote a letter asking for them to take the vinyl out to avoid outer seam splits as many places do that and to please use whiplash boxes or the equivalent..this is what i got back

"Reaching out to you in regards to the note left at purchase, Due to the nature of shipping we cannot guarantee that the items will arrive undamaged, tho we due our utmost with preventative packaging which includes a 13x13x2 card board box, ample bubble wrap, corner protectors and cardboard squares, to avoid any damage in transit. As for the shrink, unfortunately we do not remove it. This would void our refund policies therefore we leave that to customers.
Once opened, the item becomes a final sale. If you would like to update your shipping to priority signed we can do that for you. Otherwise I can go ahead and cancel your order. Thank you, Please advise."

I also sent a seperate email asking if the graph is gonna be hand signed an dnot auto pennede and they sent this:

Hey Nick I just emailed you! 

There was actually no other info regarding the signature. One can only hope it's a hand signed one... But can't say for sure

than in regards to me asking what was included in the option for signed package delivery:

It's basically a package you have to sign for upon delivery. We Just want to take any precautions possible.
I must warn tho even with signed theres just no way to guarantee that the items will arrive undamaged. 
I mean Most all orders arrive safe and sound for sure, but I would hate to tempt the devil lol. 
I as stated in first email can't open the item prior to shipment and the print will ship inside the outer sleeve along with album between two cardboard sleeves and wrapped in bubble wrap. Im sorry. We just have certain policies we follow. 


so they clearly haven't learned their lessons..if that album comes damaged, i 100% guarantee you, they will not have a replacement to send out and they will ask to ship it back and they will charge a restocking fee if the album is delivered damaged because they dont know how to ship vinyl properly...f*** that noise..if it comes damaged, iw ill let them know, if they only give me that option, i call my cc company and they credit me and i just keep the damaged item..f*** them and any other company that pulls that bs and doesn't care about customer service..there is a clear reason why nobody knows who port of sound is..it is their bs policies that they wont budge from to make a customer happy..always remember, more people will tell others of a bad experience often times than a good one! internet forums can ruin a business and i am all for that...




I managed to pick up an extra. Willing to trade for a Sturgill signed record. Lmk

this happened to me two years ago with port of sound...when i let them know i received damaged albums from them on account of them not knowing how to pack/use correct boxes..etc
this was their response:

"Hi Nick, All items are inspected and double checked for damage prior to being sent out. In our FAQ you will find that we are not liable for any damage incured during shipment or in transit. This includes but is not limited to bent corners split seams or opened shrink wrap. We apologize for that inconvenience.

and they also sent a link to their rules:

so..basically...they dont give a s*** once they send it..chances are they also send already damaged items..read their refund/exchange policy..
keep in mind, i guarantee you they will not have replacements if you receive this damaged..furthermore, a damaged item is worth way less as we all know here..

1 - THEY HAVE NO EXTRAS


2 - THEY WILL CHARGE A FEE REGARDLESS IF YOU SEND IT BACK AS THEY CLEARLY STATE IF THE DAMAGE IS FROM THE FACTORY OR NOT

My email is what got pos to check with the label.. this is what they just emailed me:

So your emails made me super anxious and i reached out to the label to inquire about the print and im sorry to say that its not signed its a just a print. Im issues an email to all the people who ordered it now offering a refund. Thank you Mr. Perry for all your questions if you hadn't been so persistent I may not have inquired and trusted the listing. Im so sorry about this. A learning experience for us on making sure to re read all solicitations prior to listing something! 

i saved everybody a big headache with them!
