Bill Gates and Steve Jobs Signed Diskette - Opinions Please

First, even I can see the Steve Jobs signature is not consistent with authentic examples.  However, the Bill Gates looks like it may be legit (although I have seen many variations of Bill Gates' signature which are different than this example).  I would appreciate any comments and opinions.

The story from the seller was both signatures were obtained in-person at a tech conference in the 1990's.  He claims to have encountered Bill Gates at the show and Bill signed the diskette.  Later, he crossed paths with "Steve Jobs" and asked him to sign the same diskette.  He claimed "Steve" saw Bill Gates' name and signed the diskette almost as a challenge.  My sense is the seller mistook someone for Steve Jobs who signed it as a joke allowing the seller to believe he really met Steve Jobs.

It would be great if the Bill Gates is authentic (and even better if the Steve Jobs was a super secret signature style only used for the most special of occasions).  Regardless, it is a fun story even if it is only somewhat true.

bump - Any opinions on the Bill Gates signature are greatly appreciated.  Hoping at least half of the seller's story is true.

Sadly I do not believe the seller and neither signature is authentic IMO

Thank you for taking a look and sharing your comments Dan. I knew Steve Jobs was way off but hoped the Bill Gates may be real.  I have not seen an authentic Gates signature exactly like this but seems he has more variability than Jobs so thought it may be possible.  Although an unlikely story, I give the seller credit for originality.
