Authenticity is Everything
Eastwood sit down graph vs. In person graph real, secretarial, or fake?
I am confident with the story of the source I bought this from considering she used to work in Hollywood and did the frames for the Academy, major stars, and studios.
The issue I am running into is people are telling me this is a classic secretarial vs real making me second guess myself in the purchase.
This according to my framer was signed by Eastwood when he stopped in her shop sat down at her desk and signed a few items for her while she grabbed his order. Sometime in the late 80s or early 90s.
Most Eastwood signatures are street graphs/in person graphs.
Is this one real? Is it secretarial that a lot of people who are not experts and are only familiar with IP street graph say it is? Or is it forgery?

Are you familiar with what a sit down graph would look like from that time period of late 80s or early 90s? Most of his I have seen are street graphs from the last 10 years.

Cogo does anyone have clearer images of the Autograph Research May 1996 Issue 65. I can’t make out what the second page of that issues release says in the 2nd link you included was.

Cogo thanks for the links. If I follow the guidelines Mike Johnson wrote mine would definitely fall underneath the probably authentic and a picture of one similar to mine is there underneath page 3 of probably authentic section

what bothers me the most is that I cannot find another Clint signature where the height of the "L" exceeds the height of the "C". Also the ending of the "d" is not correct.

From what I see it looks almost identical to the one they say is probably real in that article. To get one this old and this nice is hard, but it was done at shop. Everything about this matches that article.

you can find many eastwoods on ebay like the one you posted and i learned these are not real. the ugly ones are all authenticated by beckett - psa etc'' and a sit down autograph will be recognized as a authentic clint eastwood and yours does not. i know the fealing you have now but we all give a honnest opinion.
