Hi all...

I have a Ted Williams & Joe DiMaggio duel signed baseball that I need a COA on. What authentication service should I go too? I was going to use PSA/DNA, but after reading the recent posts I'm concerned! Any ideas?? Thanks!

hey John...if your certain that its 1000% authentic then there is really no need to get it authenticated....unless your thinking about selling it of course....if your just not sure if its real or not post pictures and I can give you my collectors opinion for free....I own authentic pieces from both names....or check out my forgery file photos and if your autos look like any in my pictures its not an authentic piece...
Thanks Cee Cee I'm thinking of selling it... I'll post a couple of pictures. I have a letter of authenticity from "Big Star Autograpghs" signed by Dirk Thompson, but it's not a recognizable COA, that's what I was told anyway. Thanks again for your help! John
Hi Cee Cee I posted a few pictures of the Ted Williams & Joe Dimaggio duel signed baseball, what's your opinion?  Real/Fake?  Thanks, John
Hey John...I saw the pictures but I won't he able to give you a better answer until I get back from vacation as I am looking at theses pictures on my phone and its hard to tell because the images are so small...I looked up your balls authenticator and I wasn't able to find out anything about them...that kind of worries me about its authenticity...when I get back on Tuesday I will be able to give you a better opinion on it and be able to post authentic autos from Joe Dimaggio and Ted Williams for you to compare them to as well...also remember to check out my forgery files photos...its definitely a great tool for pin pointing fakes...ok bro enjoy the last weekend of summer....cheers...
Thanks!  Enjoy it too!!  Talk to you when you get back.
Hey John...here are authentic Dimaggio and Williams autos...Those autos are very questionable...its really hard for me to judge if there authentic because there are good and bad qualities in both autos...i think they may be forgeries unfortunately... that's my opinion about it...I am surprised no one else posted any comments about the ball...I know there are some other guys on here can give some good advice from both names on here but since so many people keep posting forums so fast there may have not been enough guys to look at it for there opinions...if you got the ball in hand and you check out these authentic photos you may be able to come to a conclusion...but I think they may be bad...price also plays a big part into it as well...if it was extremely cheap that's also a good sign that its no good..
more authentic versions of Joe and Ted
Thanks for all your help Cee Cee. I got this ball about 12 years ago as a gift from my wife. She paid 400+ for it... And it could be a forgery?! I wish there was a site like this back then.
Here's another... http://sonsofsamhorn.net/topic/46764-closed-autographed-1991-allsta...

Do you think there might be a bunch of these out there??
I found another ball like mine that is going to be auctioned off on September 16th, this could be a fake too? Check out this link. http://www.hallsnostalgia.com/sep16thauctionphotosf.html
I love the "Milky Nantle" bat. :D
Yeah, unreal right... How do they get away with it?!
