$325

Deluxe limited edition.
The Deluxe Edition is limited to 2500 pieces. I read somewhere the autographed edition is limited to 150 pieces, but it's not mentioned on this product page. Premiere did state on Facebook they have only 25 available.

Just wondering if anyone got their signed book and did they open it yet. Thxs

There's a post with pictures one page back.

Thx you. The pics didn’t load earlier.

I just got an email from Barnes and Noble offering members a “chance” to purchase a  Dolly Parton “signed edition” Songteller. You had to fill in your information if you were interested. Those whose names are drawn at random will be contacted.  I wonder if it is from the same lot. It’s unclear if it’s a signed book or the same 45 deal.

Do you have the link to fill out the information? I'm a B&N member and get their emails -- but I haven't seen anything like that on my end.

I haven't gotten that e-mail either (I am a member). You'd think before you register your interest to buy they would state somewhere if it's for a $325 or $45 book?

It was for the $325 edition. I also got the email for the $500 signed Barack/Bruce book. I got an email saying I could buy a book, but I asked for clarification if the book itself is signed or the vinyl 45 sleeve.

I'm sorry I missed the message about sending the link.

For anyone in the Nashville TN area, I was at my local B&N today and they had multiple copies of the signed edition for sale for in store (10+).

Staff told me that Nashville stores got well stocked with this one, along with select major cities (NYC, etc). So anyway, if you’re still looking (esp in Nashville), may give it a shot.

Also, they were $250 instead of $325 list, I confirmed it was signed edition per staff and not the unsigned deluxe.

10+ copies seems like a lot and almost too much of a coincidence they are selling them for the regular Deluxe price. I'd be wary of a misinformed staff.

The signed book should have a different barcode and has the MSRP of $325 printed above that barcode.

Edit: not saying it's impossible, but better to double check than to have to go through a return.

True, I forgot that this was limited to 150 so seems very unlikely.

The staff member asked if I was a collector and I said yes (I was there for Obama book). She said “you know we have signed Dolly Parton books” and pointed to the display behind counter. I saw sign with price of $250 and asked if it was signed version to confirm. She said yes, then went on to say about Nashville getting a lot.

I agree staff is likely misinformed and I apologize if anyone goes to trouble for nothing!!

I didn’t actually look at one, as I already have it

This is the key -- signed editions are coming out more and more with unique ISBN/MSRP numbers.

I called the store to double check as was bugging me- spoke to a different staff member who said he would have to check and ask around. Came back pretty quickly and said they’re signed.

I explained there are 2 deluxe versions and attempting to confirm that this is signed one. I asked for ISBN but I didn’t have them in front of me to compare. He gave last 4 of ISBN as 1817 which is the unsigned deluxe. Anyway, not sure this clears anything up but I’m thinking they’re mistaken about being signed.
