Let's reserve this thread for any non-musician signed books and other items, at least until a dedicated forum exits for those posts.

It's not in the description...

Mysterious Galaxy (like a lot of indies) doesn't usually make a distinct product page for a Signed Edition of a book in addition to the normal unsigned edition product page unless it's related to an event. They list the Cho, Wheaton, and Keys books in their Signed Pre-Orders section which is where I copied the links from:

https://www.mystgalaxy.com/Coming-Soon-Signed

Regardless, the main point of my post was more of a heads-up. In the off-chance that anyone would be interested in these titles, they should check with their favorite (or local) indie bookstore - not that they should specifically order from Mysterious Galaxy.

For anyone lacking a favorite indie, I haven't tried them before, but Bank Square Books also has them:

Thank you for posting. This is great info

I think the signed comic book variants were limited depending on the variant (ex. like 1:50 or 1:500).  Most of those would have never hit a rack at retail. Whereas it looks like these store exclusive hardcovers are all signed for Indigo and B&N and are at a lower price than most of the signed comics would've sold at. So it depends on how many she signed and the long-term popularity of the series as to where it stacks up with rarity /value in the long term.

But the Barnes & Noble one never showed up in their signed editions section. The indigo one appears in the signed editions section of their site but didn't list much in specifics. So the fact that there wasn't a fast, huge sell-out run on these is probably down to poor marketing. If they popped up in the signed editions section as signed by Emilia Clarke-they'd have sold out lightning fast.

MOM: Mother Of Madness (Hardcover With FP Exclusive Signed Mini Print):

Interestingly, the description actually says bookplate rather than the mini print which the title suggests:

’This edition comes with one, randomly selected signed bookplate. Please note that both designs are shown on this product listing for reference only.’

It's so hard to follow this thread.
already 24 pages, in an year it will probably be around 240 pages...
No way of complaining about late shipment nor will we see the autographs people got.
Personally, I missed at least 2 autographs I was really looking for (Micheal J Fox and Natalie P.),

Agreed. I would say that the quantity of posts using this discussion is evidence that there is enough interest/active users for a new forum page to be created on here in the same manner as musician-direct...

Steve, is this a possibility do you think?

I agree as well, definitely easier to keep up with the musician direct section than this one, since you can pick which topics to follow or not follow. It would be nice to have it set up that way as well if not too much trouble. (I have no idea what goes into running a forum like this, but definitely appreciate what you do, Steve)

I totally agree this section is too difficult to follow, there are too many pages and they will further increase

I've made my thoughts known about this. Im hopefully this will still eventually happen but tried to stay quiet lately until a decision was made. Im sure Rich was getting sick of hearing me complain last month. Either way, I just want to say im grateful this forum even exists. Just count me in as a vote for having this thread turned into its own discussion in the Hollywood catagory.

Yeah, but everyone's going to miss out on things -- that's the big problem with the current FOMO-driven nature of the collectibles industry. Media hype has made it so that people are constantly chasing and spec'ing the newest products, even if a large number of them either end up being mass-produced (or comes from a celebrity who's going to sign a ton more items down the road) or autopen.

For instance, I initially went a little crazy putting a stack of signed books for the B&N Black Friday sale until I reminded myself that I can -- and have -- found some of this stuff for much cheaper, and that it's always a tradeoff between getting what I want now at a higher price or waiting and trying my luck on the secondary market (or finding it second-hand) and getting it at a much cheaper rate. There's a large amount of my collection I haven't even read yet, which also plays a factor in my decision-making process.

It's very easy to get drawn into the allure of chasing and buying the high-end items, but you have to remember that there's plenty of this stuff to go around. You will have other chances to get MJF items and others. There are things I never thought I'd be able to obtain, and yet, time is my greatest ally as of late.
