It was available for €295 on Amazon.de (did not ship to all EU countries), but it was gone almost at the same time as the US listing. It said it was shipping from the US just as the UK listing did. They're probably all linked to the same stock.

I see the flippers are already rushing to eBay to drive the price down. BAM was already canceling backorders earlier this week. This suggests they are done. I'm not really seeing many independents getting more. So my guess is after this last wave of Amazon stock sells on eBay and sells through cheaply-the market will stabilize and the sale prices will go back up. Everyone is in a rush to get a quick profit. But I suspect if they wait-they'd make a bit more. I still think long-term these end up in a similar price range to the Obama: A promised Land book ($600-$650). I know they likely produced more-but it also has Bruce.

People drove the Dave Grohl book prices down to like $65-70, Now they are back around the $95-$100 mark. I guess the quick flippers would rather take a smaller, faster cut than wait it out.

I think you are right, especially if you take into consideration worldwide demand. As far as I know these haven't been delivered into the EU, except though a few stores who probably imported them from the US themselves.

My theory is they didn't have enough to fulfill most of the EU pre-orders, so they sold the excess to Amazon who only offered it in select countries.
